
Strategic Partnerships Officer

Hope for Justice is seeking an exceptional researcher, communicator, and relationship-builder to take us to the next level in the way we interact with institutional funders and grant-making bodies.
The main duties of this role will be to support the bid development process, coordinating between country offices, the global Programmes team (including our monitoring, evaluation & learning function), and Finance. This includes supporting the development of budgets, log frames and related bid documents in accordance with funder guidelines. It will also involve representing the charity in external meetings, writing high-quality reports, and maintaining comprehensive records, so attention-to-detail is a critical skill.
The successful candidate will need to have a good balance of and strong proficiency in written and numerical/analytical skills, as well as experience with pipeline and prospect database management. The role also requires at least three years’ experience in grant writing (institutions or trusts and foundations) and donor management.
As Hope for Justice grows its Programmes to make ten times the impact over the next ten years, the work of the Strategic Partnerships Officer will be essential to achieving sustainable, long-term income in order to change lives and end slavery.

Location: This position will be home-based initially, until Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. Thereafter, it will be based at head office in central Manchester.
