Trusts and Foundations Volunteers

Hope for Justice is recruiting volunteers to assist in researching and identifying grant opportunities and writing bids to grant-making foundations to help fund our life-changing projects around the world. We are looking for volunteers with excellent written English and research skills, who are passionate about ending slavery and at least 18 years of age. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in fundraising to support Hope for Justice’s ambitious programmes and to gain exposure to our international work and various aspects of funding including charitable trusts, corporate partnerships and institutional donors.

The volunteers will provide support with the following:
-Research funding opportunities
-Support with bid preparation and bid writing
-Communication with donors including acknowledgement letters and reports
-Fundraising Database Management

These volunteering roles are based at our Head Office in Manchester.

 

Graphic Design Volunteers

Hope for Justice is looking for volunteers with graphic design skills to assist our busy global Communications team, based in Manchester. Volunteers will have knowledge of and experience with software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD and related programmes. Alternatively, knowledge of video editing and software such as Premiere Pro would be another way to put your skills to use to help our mission.

 

Event Volunteers

Hope for Justice is looking for volunteers to assist the Events Coordinator in the Manchester office to help organise our annual Freedom Dinner, and Hope Conference. We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, who excel in organisation and are passionate about ending slavery. Responsibilities will consist of researching potential event venues and suppliers, assist with inviting supporters, preparing event materials and event day assistance at occasional events within the Hope for Justice calendar.

 

Supporter Relations Volunteers

Hope for Justice is looking for volunteers to assist the Supporter Relations Coordinator in the Manchester office in our supporter care programme, keeping them engaged in the movement. We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, excel in communication and organisational skills and are passionate about ending slavery. Volunteers will help by speaking to supporters on the phone, preparing and managing the administration of fundraising initiatives and processing supporter donations.

 

Volunteer Administrative Assistants

There are volunteer opportunities in the Hope for Justice office, helping with general office management, assisting in the preparation of briefings and research, and helping the team stay up-to-date. You must have good IT skills, attention to detail and a passion for the mission of Hope for Justice.
