Hope for Justice is an anti-racist organization

Hope for Justice is an anti-racist organization. Everything we do is in the service of the oppressed, the exploited and the marginalized. We too looked on in horror at the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, and at the violent circumstances and injustice of those deaths and far too many others like them.

We strive for a world that is full of justice, full of equality, full of love and full of respect. That is our belief and it is also our mission as an anti-slavery and anti-trafficking organization.

We know there are difficult days ahead – we say that in conscious imitation of Martin Luther King, Jr., who said the day before his assassination: “We’ve got some difficult days ahead… But I want you to know tonight, that we will get to the Promised Land.”

We have to be better and do better as a world, through compassion and through working for change and through non-violence. We stand in solidarity with those who are seeking change. We stand with those who are oppressed. And we stand with all those who are facing injustice.
