Srey’s Story
Motherhood is defined by selfless and unconditional love.
To be a mother is one of the greatest gifts a woman can experience.
Srey knows this firsthand.
All she knew before her rehabilitation was violence and neglect. She says she never had the chance to experience an abundance of love and care from her family. But for her son, Srey is choosing a different life. At 12 months old, Srey’s boy is growing quickly and showing her what it means to love and to be loved in the most innate and amazing way.
Srey and her husband have been slowly building a life together in their home country, Cambodia. They both work hard to provide for their new son and are well aware of the sacrifice and undivided attention a child requires.
Srey wants much more for her son than she was given when she was young. She dreams of a great education for him and a life filled with opportunity. Amidst busy schedules, Srey and her husband enjoy coming home after a long day and spending time together as a family. It’s the simple, meaningful moments that continue to define and create a beautiful life that is completely their own.
Srey is a woman who has overcome unspeakable adversity.
She is strong. She is beautiful. She is loved.
And she loves fiercely.

Maly’s Story
Maly was sold to a man for her virginity, at just 14 years old. She was extremely abused; by him and by other men he brought to where he kept her captive. Now she is free.
Magdalene’s Story
Magdalene and each of her children were kept under lock and key. She was delivered every day to a factory where she worked gruelling 12 hour shifts. Every penny of her wages was paid into her trafficker’s bank account. Despite going without food herself, she still couldn’t feed her children with the meagre amount she was given.
